David M. Jarbusch (1933-) taught Communications at the University of Utah from 1962 to 1996. This collection contains photographs, slides, and negatives related to Jarbusch's career in the Communications department.

The Jarvie Store Excavation Report photograph collection contains slides of the site and the artifacts found. Images were used as illustrations in the report entitled: The excavation of the Jarvie site / Pamela G. Smith.

Julie Jensen is an award-winning playwright who taught playwriting at multiple universities and workshops. Born in Utah, in 2014 Jensen moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, to serve as resident playwright for the Salt Lake Acting Company; she has also been affiliated with Salt Lake City's Plan-B Theatre and Pygmalion Theatre. This collection contains photographs and slides documenting Jensen's career as a playwright, including photographs of numerous stage productions of her work.

The Sonia Johnson photograph collection contains photographs and slides of Equal Rights Amendment demonstrations in Salt Lake City and elsewhere. Also in the collection are photographs taken from television of the excommunication trial of Sonia Johnson as well as some miscellaneous photographs.

Walter Jones (1944-) is a veteran of the United States Army, military historian, and archivist who served as head of the Western Americana division of the University of Utah's J. Willard Marriott Library Special Collections and Archives. This collection contains slides and photographs related to Jones' experience and scholarship on twentieth century American military history and photographs of street fairs in the Avenues neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Verna Roberts Jorgensen photograph collection consists of images documenting the social life of Verna Roberts Jorgensen, chiefly related to activities at the First Unitarian Church in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Junior League of Salt Lake City photograph collection consists of six boxes of photographs and negatives documenting various Junior League members and activities.

The Alice Kasai photograph collection contain photographs of the Kasai family, photographs of various Japanese-American activities in Utah, including photographs of Governors Rampton and Bangerter signing documents. The collection also contains slides of buildings taken during a visit to Kyoto, Japan.

The Keith-Brown Mansion photograph collection contains miscellaneous images of the mansion, built for Keith Brown by Frederick Albert Hale, a prominent Utah architect.

Stanley Buchholz Kimball (1926 –2003) was a historian of Central European History and the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Stanley Buchholz Kimball photograph collection contains slides and negatives documenting Kimball's life and his research.

The Esther Landa photograph collection include portraits of Esther Landa, photographs of her family and friends, as well as photographs documenting her political and social involvements.

The Lynn Larsen photograph collection consists of slides of Hole-in-the-Rock area in Glen Canyon.

Wesley Pratt Larsen (1916-2004) was a biologist, author, and educator specializing in Utah history. The Wesley Pratt Larsen photograph collection contains black-and-white and color prints related to Larsen's research, particular into Ancestral Puebloan culture and artifacts and the history of Toquerville, Utah.

Russell Lees (b. 1957) is an American playwright. The Russell Lees photograph collection pertains to his 1996 play, Nixon's Nixon.

The William "Bert" A. Lucas contains color slides of Glen Canyon between 1949 and 1951, ten years before the canyon was flooded to fill the Powell Reservoir in 1963.

The Daniel B. Luten Glen Canyon photograph collection consists of slides that were organized by Daniel Luten for a presentation encouraging the restoration of Glen Canyon. All slides were captioned by Daniel B. Luten; captions are included in this register.

The Stanley David and June Kremer Lyman photograph collection contains images documenting Stanley Lyman's career with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Included in the collection are photographs of the occupation of Wounded Knee, South Dakota, in 1973 and of subsequent Congressional hearings.
