The Nancy Dick Maurer photograph collection contains four copper etched scenes presented by the Salt Lake Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau “Valley of the Great Salt Lake.”

The Thorn L. Mayes, Jr. photograph collection contains photographs, negatives, and slides depicting the American Locomotive Company, Baldwin Locomotive Works, Lima Locomotive Works, Inc, including train models and railroad photos. The collection also contains color slides of nature photography depicting national parks and rivers in Utah and the American southwest.

The Kenneth Fielding McAllister photograph collection documents the June 1956 river trip through the Glen Canyon of the Colorado River with a semi-private river running group, SOCOTWA. Also included is a SOCOTWA tee shirt that was given to each member of the party, and miscellaneous documents assembled as background information by Robert G. Vernon.

The Wilson McCarthy photograph collection contains personal and family materials as well as materials related to his business.

The Judge William McCarty photograph collection contains five portraits of the late Judge William McCarty, who acted as both a Utah Supreme Court Chief and Associate Justice.The photographs in this collection represent images of McCarty from youth to middle age.

The Paul McCollister photograph collection consists mostly of digital only materials, McCollister was a co-founder of the Jackson Hole Ski Area and was involved in the development of the ski industry in Wyoming.

Scott D. McCoy (1970-) was a lawyer and activist for LGBTQ rights who served in the Utah State Senate from 2005 to 2009. He was the first openly gay person to serve in the Utah State Senate. This collection contains photographs related to McCoy's political career, promotional photographs, and photographs and copy prints collected by McCoy.

Grover Vernon McCracken (1919-2001) was a military veteran who served in the 84th Naval Construction Battalion (Seabees) during World War II. The Grover Vernon McCracken photograph collection contains black-and-white photograph documenting McCracken's family and friends and his WWII military service in Australia, the Philippines, and Japan.

The Ruth McDonough photograph collection consists of digital scans of 56 black and white and 6 color snapshots taken with a Brownie camera by Ruth McDonough on two separate river trips with SOCOTWA, an LDS river-running organization. The six color photos in Folder 1 were taken by someone else on the trip and later given to Ms. McDonough; the black and white photos were all taken by her.

The Sheridan L. McGarry photograph collection contains two black and white prints of the First Presidency of the L.D.S. church from 1847 to 1854, and a print of Frederick G. Williams. There is also a negative of two unidentified people looking at photographs.

The Joseph Howard McGibbeny photograph collection consists of negatives and photographs of Native Americans in the Southwest.

The McIntyre Ranch digital photograph collection contains personal family photographs and images relating to cattle ranching during the mid 20th Century. Images include snapshots of family members at their home in Salt Lake City and on the McIntyre Ranch in Leamington, Utah. Also included are photographs of men branding calves, Angus Breeders Field Day, a prize Angus bull, and horses on the McIntyre Ranch.

The David Oman McKay photograph collection consists of four unidentified portraits believed to be of members of the McKay family; two group portraits of LDS missionaries.

Llewelyn Riggs McKay (1904-1975) was a professor at the University of Utah who served as head of the Language Department from 1945 until 1965. His father, David O. McKay, was the ninth president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This collection contains portraits of Llewelyn McKay, David O. McKay, and photographs of the McKay family. It also contains photographs documenting the mission that Llewelyn McKay served in Germany between 1922 and 1925.

Joseph W. McMurrin (1858-1932) was a general authority, member of the First Council of the Seventy, and president of the California Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Joseph W. McMurrin photograph collection contains 1 image of the leaders of the Latter Day Saints Church on September 1925 and another undated image of an unidentiied ship.

The John McNamara photograph collection constists of imgaes of Southern Ute Indians.

Cal McPhie (1923-2014) was a World War II veteran who, along with his wife Dodie McPhie (1930-2018), operated Utah ski areas from 1950 to the 1970s. This collection contains digital images of Cal in the United States Navy, Cal and Dodie skiing, and scans of news articles about Cal McPhie's military service and work in the ski industry dating from the 1940s to the 2000s.

Leonidas Ralph Mecham (1928-2019) served as served as the Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts from 1985 until his retirement in 2006. The Leonidas Ralph Mecham photograph collection contains photographs sent to Mecham by friends and colleagues in correspondence and photographs related to Mecham's career.

Amy Toda Meeker skied competitively in Japan in the 1940s and was a member of the University of Utah Ski Team from about 1947 to 1950. The Amy Toda Meeker photograph collection contains images of Meeker and friends skiing in the 1940s.
