However, the majority of the photographs in this collection appear in articles written by Jan Brunvand. Abstract The Frank Cyrus Carman papers (1924-1989) consist of correspondence, broadcast transcripts, financial and business records, and QSL (radio transmission) cards documenting Frank Cyrus Carman's career in radio broadcasting. Carman established and managed several early Utah commercial radio stations, including KUTA (later KLUB) and KISN in Salt Lake City. The bulk of the collection consists of records, including advertising and public affairs broadcast transcripts, from these stations.
