Biographical Sketch

Sam Kiefer was a radio broadcaster for KSL Radio during the 1930s and early 1940s. He played the characters of Peter Spraynozzle and Joe Wolfe.

The Sam Kiefer papers (circa 1930s-1940s) consist of broadcast source material, correspondence, and fan mail primarily addressed to Peter Spraynozzle (Sam Kiefer), at KSL Radio Station, Salt Lake City, Utah. Included are radio scripts and clippings of columns written for the Utah Labor News under the name Peter Spraynozzle.
