The Henry P. Plenk papers (1952-1987) contain correspondence, articles written by Plenk, typescripts, interviews, and other documents pertaining to Plenk's book, Medicine in the Beehive State.

The Porte Publishing Company records (1916-1969) reflect the life of Roy Trewin Porte (1876-1936) and his intense interest in the field of printing and publishing.

The Ernest L. Poulson papers (1891-1985) include an autobiography; research material (including correspondence, interviews, notes, and news clippings) on the Deseret Live Stock Company; and other short biographies and articles on land management in Utah, Farmers' State Bank (in Bountiful, Utah), and live stock. Audio cassettes contain interviews with Sterling S. McMurrin, Grace Kerr, and Irvin J. Cox.

The William M. Powell papers (1968-1992) consists of his autobiography and several articles on early Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints history. William M. Powell (b. 1914) is a retired owner of an electrical supply company.

The William M. Purdy papers (1954-1991) consist of personal and professional documents for Purdy (1921-1993), a noted Utah educator. The materials include correspondence, writings, and documents concerning Rowland Hall-St. Mark's School, where Purdy was headmaster from 1968-1981. Also included in the collection is his paper, "An Outline of the History of the Flaming Gorge Area."

The collection contains publications and research material as well as clippings about Quinn's work. Quinn is a historian and author of several works on LDS Church history.

The Simon Ramo papers (1930-2011) includes correspondence, biographies, writings, speeches, articles, minutes, programs, newsletters, interviews, annual reports, certificates, and other papers. Ramo is a computer scientist, businessman, co-founder of TRW Inc., author, and tennis expert.

The Marybeth Raynes papers (1969-2003) consist of articles and speeches written by this Salt Lake City social worker and marriage and family therapist.

The Richard F. Ream papers (1962-1973) consist of photocopied materials regarding articles about climbing Lone Peak, Bell's Tower and The Thumb located in Little Cottonwood Canyon in Utah. Also included is materials about climbing Wind River in Wyoming.

The J.A.C. Redford papers (1986-1992) consist of essays on LDS Church doctrine and conservative Christianity. Redford is an composer of concert music, film and television scores, and music for the theater.

The Daniel Brigham Hill Richards diaries (1897-1934) incorporate family history, correspondence, articles, and newspaper clippings.

The William D. "Bill" Rishel papers (1925-1947) contain life sketches and clippings. Rishel was an automobile enthusiast from Utah.

The Floyd E. Risvold paperss (1960-1970) consist mainly of letters between Risvold and Dale Morgan. The letters contain information dealing with many aspects of Western history. Floyd E. Risvold was a manuscript collector, dealer, and historian from Minnesota.

The William J. Roosen skiing collection (1969-1991) includes bibliographies, examinations, reports, and correspondence stemming from Roosen's teaching of a ski history class; pamphlets and clippings on ski resorts; articles and books on various aspects of skiing; copies of the "Alta Powder News" (1967-1991). Roosen was a professor of history at Northern Arizona University where he taught a class in ski history.

The Joseph B. Rosembaum papers (1940-1988) consist of papers, correspondence, talks and speeches, notes, books, articles, and reprints dealing with metallurgy and the U.S. Bureau of Mines.

The Kenneth Irving Ross papers (1893-2014) consists of materials regarding his explorations of the Southwest as well as his time as the director of Explorers' Camp.

The James G. Rossiter papers (1964-1978) consist of Intermountain Ski Instructors Association exams, the Alf Engen Ski School teaching manual, and numerous ski articles and news clippings. Also included in the collection are materials regarding the Pocatello Ski Association and its relation to the United States Ski Association (USSA)- Intermountain Division.
