The Ezra Taft Benson autobiography (1846) consist of a historical sketch entitled "Brief History of Ezra Taft Benson," apparently written by Benson (1811-1869) after he became an apostle in the LDS Church.

The Amos Davis account book (1839-1842) consists of a photocopy and transcription of this book, showing the transactions that took place in Amos Davis' store in Commerce (later Nauvoo), Illinois.

The grand jury summons, signed by court clerk Jacob B. Backenstos, is a subpeona summoning Chauncy Robinson, G. W. Thatcher, Chauncy L. Higbee, Francis M. Higbee, William Law, Wilson Law, George Buchanan, Charles Ivins, and Charles S. Foster to appear before the Grand Jury at Carthage, Illinois, on 24 October 1844.

The Hancock County, Illinois Court documents (1840-1845) consist of fourteen documents pertaining to eight court cases. These documents include five affadavits, two subpoenas, two summons, and five assorted materials.

The William Huntington diary [photocopy] (1835-1845) details his life and his affiliation with the LDS Church.

The John Loveless autobiography (1807-1859) details his life in the LDS Church, the Church's expulsion from Missouri, his departure from Nauvoo, his trek west, and arrival in Salt Lake City.

The John Lowry Sr. and John Lowry Jr. biographies of both these early settlers to Utah are undated.

The H. Michael Marquardt papers (1800-2017) contains correspondence, clippings, diary copies, scholarly articles, miscellaneous research materials on topics in LDS history and theology. Marquardt is a historian and author.

The George Christian Riser autobiography (1842-1846) is titled, "Tagebuch fur G.C.R.," about his early life in Germany, his immigration to the United States, his conversion to the Mormon Church, his settlement in Nauvoo, Illinois, and ends in the winter of 1846 at Council Bluffs, Iowa.
