The Noel de Nevers essay (1970) is titled "Suggestions for Outsiders Moving to Utah--A Purely Personal View." This five-page typed document is a commentary on the social environment to be expected by an outsider (non-Mormon) upon moving to Utah and experiencing what it is like to be a minority group member, perhaps for the first time. The essay offers suggestions for adapting to living in Utah with the least amount of friction.

Tim DeChristopher protest collection
The Tim DeChristopher protest collection (2011) consists of flyers and brochures announcing protests in solidarity with Tim DeChristopher. DeChristopher disrupted a U.S. Bureau of Land Mangement oil and gas lease auction December 19, 2008, in Salt Lake City, Utah. A federal grand jury handed up a two-count felony indictment against DeChristopher that accused him of violating the terms of the auction he promised to observe when he signed up to bid.

This collection contains color photographs documenting DeChristopher's protest and sentencing.

Defeat of the Martin ministry papers
"The Defeat of the Martin Ministry" papers (1872) are two separate entries, written by different people, in the same journal. A diary containing handwritten passages and newspaper clippings documenting the ouster of Sir James Martin as Chief Justice of New South Wales. Included are pages from a book entitled: Early days of Port Jackson describing the voyage of HMS Sirius in 1788 and the establishment of the first English settlement in Australia.
Lee Deffebach correspondence to Patrick Eddington
This collection (1993, 2001-2005) consists of correspondence written over a period of years between Lee Deffebach and Utah artist and Highland High School art instructor, Patrick Eddington, and continuing until shortly before her death. Lee Deffebach is a painter known for her abstract expressionism and color field paintings.
