Martin Tolchin papers
The Martin Tolchin papers (1955-1991) consist of 16 scrapbooks containing newspaper articles written by Tolchin between 1955 and 1989, and an addendum includes newspaper clippings of articles written between 1979 and 1991. Also included are press passes and pamphlets. Tolchin worked at the Times, first as a reporter, then as bureau chief, for 40 years.

The Union Times collection (1886-1887) consists of original and photocopied leaves from a hand-written newspaper, authored by young men from the LDS Union Ward in Union, Utah. The paper contains an editorial, letters to the editor, and sentiments and jokes.

Utah Holiday was first published in October 1971 by Utah Holiday Publishing Co. Throughout its 21-year history, its contents focused on events, people, and places in Salt Lake City and the rest of Utah.

The Eugene W. Whitaker's KZN radio collection (1922-1975) consists of two folders containing letters and materials documenting the early history of KZN, the first radio broadcast station in Utah. KZN was the first commercial radio station in Utah. It began broadcasting on May 22, 1922 from the roof of the building housing The Deseret News newspaper in Salt Lake City.
