The Edward Abbey audio collection (1981-1989) consists of audio recordings or public and published works of Edward Abbey, as well as his memorial service in 1989. Recordings of include Abbey's speech at the 'cracking' of Glen Canyon Dam in 1981 and the audiobook Freedom and Wilderness: Edward Abbey Reads from his Work. Edward Abbey was a noted author and environmental activist, much of whose work focused on the desert Southwest.
