Adams-Matheson family biographies
This collection consists of photocopies of biographies of Barbara Ellen Matheson Adams and David H. Matheson,and an autobiography of William Adams.
Jude Allen papers
The Jude Allen papers (1836-1981) consist of a handwritten account book; a certificate of Allen's appointment to the rank of captain in the Ohio Militia; a three-page biography written by his granddaughter, Edna Dewey Pierson; and a children's short story written in 1981, by Avon Compton, another granddaughter.
Andrus family papers
The Andrus family papers (1978-1979) contain information on Milo Andrus and his wives through two family publications, The Andrus Recorder and Milo Andrus and His Wives and Children. Both these xerox editions contain excerpts from Milo's journal and autobiography, as well as his letters. Information regarding Lucy Andrus and her "Halfway House" is also included.
Francis Armstrong family papers
The Francis Armstrong family papers (1860-1960) contain autobiographies, biographies, obituaries, correspondence, genealogy records, and newspaper articles. Francis Armstrong Madsen is a local businessman who compiled this resource on his mother's ancestor, Francis Armstrong. The bulk of the collection consists of information on Francis Armstrong and his family.
Elijah Averett journal [typescript]
This collection consists of a WPA transcription of the Elijah Averett journal. Begins with several pages of financial accounts of a brickyard, includes an autobiography by Averett and account entries and brief histories of the Averett and Mackleprang families.
Joseph E. Beard papers
The Joseph E. Beard papers (1921-1923) contain four missionary diaries from the 1920's in the Eastern States Mission and one program (photocopy) of ESM Conference at Hill Cumorah, September 1923.
Ezra Taft Benson autobiography
The Ezra Taft Benson autobiography (1846) consist of a historical sketch entitled "Brief History of Ezra Taft Benson," apparently written by Benson (1811-1869) after he became an apostle in the LDS Church.
Rodney H. Brady papers
The Rodney H. Brady papers (1957-2001) consist of a thesis, dissertation, general materials, and 11 bound autobiographical volumes that document the life of Brady. Brady, a native Utahn, served on many religious and civic capacities during his life. He served as an officer in the United States Air Force; assistant secretary for administraion and management in the United States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare; and president of Weber State College.
Jesse R. S. Budge family history and autobiography
The Jesse R. S. Budge family history and autobiography (1949) consists of family memories by Jesse Budge (1878-1964), titled "Pioneer Days: Some Reminiscences." This writing gives details of growing up in a polygamous family in Paris, Idaho, and of Budge's legal career.
