The Auxiliary of the Reading Room for the Blind scrapbook (1908-1934) was compiled by the librarian, Mrs. Dr. J. J. Snider. The majority of the scrapbook consists of news clippings regarding the creation of the reading room and other issues pertaining to visually impaired people in Utah. Included in the scrapbook are a few programs and issues of The Utah Eagle.

There are also single sheets consisting of written birth records, but it is uncertain where the births took place in Clarion.

Brooke earned a Ph.D. from Oxford University in 1940 and attended Johns Hopkins University. He became the first chief resident of surgery for Price, Utah. He served as the president of the Salt Lake Surgical Society.
