The Auxiliary of the Reading Room for the Blind scrapbook (1908-1934) was compiled by the librarian, Mrs. Dr. J. J. Snider. Included in the scrapbook are a few programs and issues of The Utah Eagle.

He served as the president of the Salt Lake Surgical Society.
