The Dan Steffen papers (1960-1982) contains course materials and publications relating to skiing and ski instruction. Steffen is a member of the Ski Archives Advisory Committee. He has taught skiing for many years at several of the Salt Lake area ski resorts.

The Edgar Stern digital photograph collection consists mainly of portraits and images of him skiing. Edgar Stern purchased Treasure Mountain Resort in 1968 and turned it into Park City Resort, with an ambitious improvement and expansion plan. Mr. Stern sold Park City Resort in 1975 but acquired 1,700 acres that eventually became Deer Valley.

The Raymond Stewart photograph collection contains photographs that reveal the early days of skiing on Mount Timpanogos. The photographs in the collection are dated in the 1940s-1950s, the photographs show summer skiing, tower construction, early ski instruction, and the chairlifts of then Timp Haven.

The Mark Stiegemeier papers (1973-1986) contain a scrapbook, magazine articles, and news clippings concerning his involvement in freestyle skiing. Stiegemeier was a freestyle skier during the 1970s and 1980s.

The Mark Stiegemeier photograph collection consists of a photograph of Mark Stiegmeier during a freestyle skiing competition and two other miscellaneous photographs.

The Marthinius A. Strand photograph collection is one image of him in his Utah Ski Club sweater on the out run of a jumping hill.

The Marthinius A. Strand Utah skiing collection (1932-1984) contain newspaper clippings, magazine articles and newsletters. Strand is widely regarded as the father of the Intermountain skiing industry. He is a member of the National Ski Association Hall of Fame.

This collection contains uniforms from the 2002 Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City.

The Jim Sullivan digital photograph collection consists of images depicting Sullivan skiing at Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Included in the collection are photographs of Snow King Resort and ski racing.

The Jim Sullivan papers (1972-1993, 2008-2014) include correspondence from Jim Sullivan, a pamphlet illustrating the Snow King Resort, sticker, Teton magazines, Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum Chronicle newsletter, and Jackson Hole Skier containing articles about Snow King. Included in the collection is an article written about Sullivan.

The Sun Valley, Idaho collection (1937-1965) consists of travel brochures, photos, calendars, and stationary. The materials focus on the travel and recreational opportunities available in Sun Valley.

The Sundance Ski Area photograph collection contains one photograph taken from the top ridgeline of Sundance Ski Resort.

The Ida Shimizu Tateoka papers (1987-2002) contain an autobiographical letter, skating club information, programs, news clippings, and a poster. Tateoka has been a judge of national and world ice skating competitions.

The Tenth Mountain Division photograph collection contains one oversize panoramic black and white photo, circa 1944.

The Thaynes mine shaft photograph collection contains photographs of skiers in Thayne's shaft.

The D. Robert Theobald photograph collection consists of images of D. Robert Theobold executing various freestyle ski jumps.

The D. Robert Theobald scrapbook (1968-1989) consist of a photocopy of the original documenting the skiing career of Theobald. D. Robert Theobald competed in freestyle skiing events in the 1970s. He also operated a ski school at Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah and served as an officer in national freestyle skiing organizations.
