Rebecca Rosetta Peterson Bean speech
The Rebecca Rosetta Peterson Bean speech (1964) is an untitled fireside talk given by Rebecca Rosetta Peterson Bean (1891-1976). In the talk, Bean discusses her experiences as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Palmyra, New York, in 1915.
Juanita Brooks papers
The Juanita Brooks papers (1941-1993) is comprised mainly of photocopied letters from Dale Morgan to Juanita Brooks concerning her book, Mountain Meadows Massacre, published in 1950. Also included are some short stories, letters concerning John D. Lee, and an oral history transcript.
Chase and Mathews family histories
The Chase and Mathews family histories (1957-2006) consist of memories, recollections, transcriptions and copies of materials that detail the history of these two families. Isaac Chase came to Utah in 1847 and in 1854 he partnered with Brigham Young to developed a flour mill which became known as the Chase Mill.
Coal shortage legislative hearings
This collection (1917) consists of carbon copy of the transcript of testimony before a committee of the Utah State Legislature investigating the shortage of heating coal and coke in Utah during the winter of 1917.
Granite teacher training project

Daniel McCool has taught at the University of Arizona, Texas A&M University, and the University of Utah. Formerly the Director of the American West Center at the University of Utah, McCool is currently the Director of Environmental Studies.
