Scope and Contents

This collection consists of carbon copy of the transcript of testimony before a committee of the Utah State Legislature investigating the shortage of heating coal and coke in Utah during the winter of 1917. On title page: "Testimony taken at the hearings held by the Joint Senate and House Committee of the Legislature of the State of Utah, to investigate the question of coal shortage, said hearings beginning on the 29th dayof January, A.D. 1917."
