The Robert I. McQueen biographical sketch (2003) entitled, "Robert I. McQueen: Missioanry, Editor, and Activist" was written by Jay Bell and discusses the struggles of McQueen who was an editor for the Advocate.

The Madeline R. McQuown papers (1803-1976) contain some of McQuown's research and works. While the collection does contain some of McQuown's more personal works, such as some of her poetry, the collection deals mainly with her research. Her research was focused on Brigham Young and the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the LDS Church).

The Katsu and Grace Miya papers (1901-2008) consist of newspapers, notes, and various other documents regarding the Japanese internment during WWII, the 442 Regimental Combat Team, and Nisei life in the United States.

The Nicholas Groesbeck Morgan papers (1885-1997) consist of archaeological and historical materials pertaining to Utah and United States. The bulk of this collection is devoted to notable Utah/Mormon personalities and figures as well as buildings, places, etc. that are held in historical reverence concerning pioneering and the Salt Lake area.

The Murdock family papers (1850s-1970s) contain genealogical and biographical information on four generations of the Joseph Stacey Murdock family. Joseph Stacey Murdock and wife emigrated from Nauvoo to Utah in 1847 and settled in the Heber City, Utah, area.

The A. Milton Musser papers (1952-1948) consist of typescripts of diaries (1852 and 1869 February-April), a handwritten index of Musser diaries (1852-1857), and a biography detailing associations with early LDS Church leaders as well as everyday activities. Collection includes a handwritten letter (dated 1948) about gold coins minted by the LDS in Salt Lake City. Musser was a traveling bishop for the LDS Church from 1858 to 1876.

The Clara Jenson Myers biography of Hannah and Peter Jenson (1956) details the life of her parents, Hannah and Peter Jenson, Swedish converts to the LDS Church. Myers also includes some of her own reminiscences of her life prior to marriage.

The Harry Nelson papers (1886-2015) are mainly a collection of materials documenting the life of Maud May Babcock (1867-1954), a theater teacher and director at the University of Utah from 1892 to 1938. Journals, travelogs, daily planners, teaching materials, manuscripts, programs, announcements, letters, and news clippings are included. Harry Nelson (1901-1988) was a theater student and friend of Maud May Babcock.

The Alberta Hunt Nicholson papers (1940-1997) contain materials regarding Nicholson's involvement with aviation from 1940-1990. Nicholson (1914-2002) was one of the first women test pilots to fly for the United States Air Force. She was a member of the Women Air Force Service Pilots (WASPs) during World War II, from 1943 until the group was disbanded in 1944.

The Matthew Frederick and Claire Wilcox Noall papers (1805-1970s) consist of the Noalls' personal and professional records, as well as records passed on to them by their ancestors.

The Mildred Harris Olson biography on Ole Van Harris and Annie May Perry Harris (1986) consist of a 25-page typescript entitled "History of Ole Van Harris and Wife, Annie May Perry Harris."

The Gladys Young Orlob papers (1908-1949) contains biographical information, an article written by Orlob about Brigham Young, news clippings, and a copy of Marchen und Erzahlungen fur Unfanger, a German language reader, with pencil drawings and notations.

The Helen Zeese Papanikolas papers (1954-2001) contain materials concerning the research and writing of this Utah historian and folklorist. Included are correspondence, research files, news clippings, oral history manuscripts, published and unpublished articles.

The John Parker (1812-1886) biography was written by his daughter, Alice Parker Isom. Parker was an early Mormon convert and settler in Dixie, Utah.

The L. Mayland Parker papers consist of an autobiography, correspondence, and articles. He was a professor of agricultural economics at Arizona State University from 1955-1972, and then professor of geography from 1972-1986.

The Joshua Hughes Paul papers (1800s-1900s) consist of a biography of Joshua Hughes Paul taken from his diaries, essays and poetry written by Paul and others.

The Eva A. Paxman biography on Olive Alger Truman (b. 1894), a southern Utah nursing home administrator, is titled "Look Up, Laugh and Live." Truman began one of the area's first aged-care facilities.
