Abstract The Axel J. Andresen scrapbooks (1930-1980) were compiled by Andresen documenting his involvement in competitive ski jumping. A native of Norway, Andresen came to Utah in 1912. He held most major jump titles between 1918 and 1927. He was a founding member of the Norwegian-American Athletic Club, which later became the Utah Ski Club. Andresen served as vice president of that organization in the 1930s.
