Biographical / Historical

The Babcock Performing Readers was originally named the Maud May Babcock Reading Arts Society after Maud May Babcock (1867-1954), a very prominent figure in Utah theater and speech. Their goal is to preserve the art of oral interpre-tation by bringing literature to life through live performance.
