The Bliss and Campbell architectural drawings contain artwork, education certificates, architectural competition materials, and architectural drawings. Their architectural drawings consist of commercial, public/private institutional properties, and residential properties. The majority of projects are located in the Midwest, specifically Minnesota with select properties in Michigan and Wisconsin and one project on the East Coast in Massachusetts. The remainder of their projects are located in Utah.

Historical Note
Robert Bliss attended Black Mountain College and earned a bachelor's degree from MIT in 1949. Anna Campbell Bliss earned her bachelor's in Art History and Mathematics from Wellesy College in 1946 and a master's in Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 1950. Robert Bliss and Anna Campbell practiced architecture in Minneapolis, Minnesota before moving their architecture firm to Salt Lake City. They have been heavily involved with the Art community in Utah. Anna Campbell has served on the boards of the Reperatory Dance Theatre, the Salt Lake City Design Board and Utah Arts Council committees, the Restoration Board for the Cathedral of the Madeleine, and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts Advisory Board. At the University of Utah, Robert Bliss has served as chairman of the department of architecture, dean of the graduate school of architecture, and full professor in the Graduate School of Architecture before retiring as professor emeritus.

Their architectural drawings consist of commercial, public/private institutional properties, and residential properties. The majority of projects are located in the Midwest, specifically Minnesota with select properties in Michigan and Wisconsin and one project on the East Coast in Massachusetts. The remainder of their projects are located in Utah.
Arrangement
The collection has been arranged into five series: Educational Materials, Competitions, Utah Projects, Midwest and East Coast Projects, and General Projects and Designs. Within each series projects have been arranged alphabetically by organization or last name.
