Also included in the records is a press release concerning the reopening of the railroad following the Thistle landslide in 1983.

The Rio Grande Southern Railroad records (1889-2001) consist of meeting minute book, a company ledger, a scrapbook, train schedules, and newspaper clippings relating to the activity of the Rio Grande Southern Railroad Company.
