The Jan Andrews independent film collection (1984-2002) consists of seven experimental and/or documentary films by Utah filmmaker Jan Andrews. Andrews holds of Master of Fine Arts degree in film from the University of Utah. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).
D. J. Angus home movies
The D. J. Angus home movies (1932) consist of films taken on a vacation to the desert Southwest. Angus' footage includes scenes of notable parks and landmarks in Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. A native of Wisconsin, Donald James Angus was a self-educated electrical engineer who worked and taught in Indiana and Michigan.
ARPANET training video
The ARPANET training video (undated) is a United States Army training video for a Node Site Coordinator working with the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET), a precursor to today's internet. The University of Utah's Computer Science Department's Ivan Sutherland ran one of the original interface message processors (IMP) for the ARPANET project.

Ballet West promotional materials audio-visual collection
The Ballet West promotional materials audio-visual collection (1976-1987) consists almost entirely of audio recordings of radio advertisements for Ballet West tickets and productions. There are also audio recordins of Ballet West personalities on the "State of the Arts" radio program one television advertisment recorded on 16mm film. A professional ballet company, Ballet West was established in 1963 and offers a season of performances at the Salt Lake City, Utah's Capitol Theatre.

The film The Big Chance (1968) focuses on the opportunities offered by the Madera Employment Training Center in Madera California. The training center is operated by the Education and Technical Services Division under contract with the Bureau of Inadian Affairs, United States Department of Interior.

The Larry Cappetto independent film collection (2004) consists of a documentary about the survivors of World War II's D-Day. Many of the veterans interviewd are Utah natives. Larry Cappetto is a Colorado based documentary filmmaker. This film premiered at the Salt Lake City Public Library.
