The Jan Andrews independent film collection (1984-2002) consists of seven experimental and/or documentary films by Utah filmmaker Jan Andrews. Andrews holds of Master of Fine Arts degree in film from the University of Utah. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

The D. J. Angus home movies (1932) consist of films taken on a vacation to the desert Southwest. Angus' footage includes scenes of notable parks and landmarks in Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. A native of Wisconsin, Donald James Angus was a self-educated electrical engineer who worked and taught in Indiana and Michigan.

The ARPANET training video (undated) is a United States Army training video for a Node Site Coordinator working with the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET), a precursor to today's internet. The University of Utah's Computer Science Department's Ivan Sutherland ran one of the original interface message processors (IMP) for the ARPANET project.

The David Baddley independent film collection (1980s) consists of two experimental films Baddley made while studying at the University of Utah. David Baddley is a Salt Lake City based artist; he teaches at Westminster College. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

The Ballet West promotional materials audio-visual collection (1976-1987) consists almost entirely of audio recordings of radio advertisements for Ballet West tickets and productions. There are also audio recordins of Ballet West personalities on the "State of the Arts" radio program one television advertisment recorded on 16mm film. A professional ballet company, Ballet West was established in 1963 and offers a season of performances at the Salt Lake City, Utah's Capitol Theatre.

The film The Big Chance (1968) focuses on the opportunities offered by the Madera Employment Training Center in Madera California. The training center is operated by the Education and Technical Services Division under contract with the Bureau of Inadian Affairs, United States Department of Interior.

The Brandy Blank river running video collection (1940s, 1970s) consists of a VHS videocassette containing a dub of an 8mm color silent film of a 1940s Boy Scout river trip through Glen Canyon led by Bert Loper as well as footage of a 1970s era Westwater Canyon river trip.

The Larry Cappetto independent film collection (2004) consists of a documentary about the survivors of World War II's D-Day. Many of the veterans interviewd are Utah natives. Larry Cappetto is a Colorado based documentary filmmaker. This film premiered at the Salt Lake City Public Library.

The Central Utah Project lecture video collection (1960s) show a lecture by the University of Utah geography professor H. Bowman Hawkes on the Central Utah Project (CUP).

The Thomas Battersby Child Audio-Visual Collection details Thomas B. Child's life through a tour of Gilgal Garden and his funeral. There is also a video of his son and nephew giving a walking tour of the garden with details on the garden's and Child's history and importance.

The John Clendenin freestyle ski video collection (1975) consists of two DVDs. One is a film created by Clendenin named "The Fall", the other is a film that summarizes the growth of freestyle skiing as sport, the freestyle ski contests of the 1975 season, and gives the viewer some insight into the individuals and culture of the sport.

The Deedee Corradini audio-visual collection (1984-1999) consists of mostly VHS cassettes relating to Corradini's two terms as mayor of Salt Lake City. Materials include election coverage of both elections, news clips, and various other related materials.

The Tyrone Davies independent film collection (2001) consists of a copy of Davies' experimental film "Stealing Away." Tyrone Davies is a Utah filmmaker whose work has been featured in video installations in Salt Lake City and San Francisco. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

The Blair Dean Utah natural bodybuilding video collection (1983-2001) consists of video recordings of National Gym Association (NGA) natural bodybuilding competitions in Utah and other states. The Mario DeAngelis independent film collection (2003) consists of short films made while DeAngelis was a film student at the University of Utah. Most of the films are in the horror genre. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).
