Abstract Saburo "Sam" Shimomura (1927-2009) was a veteran of the United States Army who was a Prisoner of War during the Korean War in the early 1950s. This collection contains 103 digital only images of Shimomura's military service dating from the 1950s and of a 2003 Veteran's Day event honoring Utah's Korean War veterans.
