Biographical Note

Tracey Wendell Shepherd (1903-1982) grew up in Paris, Idaho, where he attended Fielding Academy. He married Leone Sorensen (1900-1987), a piano instructor, in Salt Lake City in 1923. They were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The two had four children together. Tracey Shepherd died in 1982 and Leone Shepherd died in 1987.
