The Walter Pace Cottam papers (1929-1988) contain biographical and commemorative articles and speeches about Walter Cottam. Cottam was a professor of botany at the University of Utah, 1931-1962.

The Samuel Parkinson Cowley collection (1934) consist of a funeral report, supplemented by a memorial service address. Cowley (1899-1934) was a special agent with the U. S. Justice Department, Division of Investigations. He was killed in a shootout with "Baby Face" Nelson, becoming the first federal agent killed in the line of duty.
