The ballet archives photograph collection contains photographs and slides documenting performance activities by various dance companies in Utah. The collection also included are images from Ballet West, the University Theatre Ballet, Utah Civic Ballet, and various companies directed by Willam F. Christensen.

The Arthur L. Chaffin photographs contains materials concerning Chaffin's owning and operating of the Chaffin Ferry and his mining career. Arthur L. Chaffin operated the ferry across the Colorado River at Hite, Utah until the site was covered by Lake Powell in the 1960s. He was also extensively involved in mining in southeastern Utah.

James H. Madsen photographic slide collection
The photographic slide collection documents over forty years of paleonotological work at the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry in Carbon County, Utah. Some of the slides were shown by the donor in the course of talks he gave about the history of the quarry, while others were collected by him to document the operations there. The slides were arranged and numbered by the donor in subject order, and that original order has been maintained.

The Kenneth Fielding McAllister photograph collection documents the June 1956 river trip through the Glen Canyon of the Colorado River with a semi-private river running group, SOCOTWA. Also included is a SOCOTWA tee shirt that was given to each member of the party, and miscellaneous documents assembled as background information by Robert G. Vernon.
