The Mark H. Forscutt paper (circa 1862) consist of Forscutt's partial history of the Morrisite church, of which he served as clerk. The Morrisite church was formed as a result of the death of Joseph Smith Jr. (1805-1844), prophet and president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
