The Drew Hicken digital photograph consists of one image of Hicken snowboarding, photo by Jon Foster.

The Drew Hicken papers (1990-1993) contain color photocopies of a calendar, various magazine excerpts, and a flyer. Most of the collection contains color images of Hicken snowboarding that appeared in various snowboarder magazines. Hicken was a competitive snowboarder for the "Salty 8," a team sponsored by Salty Peaks Snowboard Shop.

The John Hoagland avalanche publications collection (1933-1990) contains published technical reports and monographs mostly from the United States Forest Service on avalanche research and the impact of avalanches on alpine skiing. Included are manuals for the National Avalance School sponsored by the Forest Service, as well as technical reports relating to avalanche control. Hoagland is a winter recreation specialist for the United States Forest Service.

The Scott Hoffman photograph collection consists of images of Scott Hoffman ski racing and holding a trophy.

The Hotel Utah photograph collection consits photographs and slides documenting the remodeling and expansion of the Hotel Utah which began in 1974. The collection also contains photographs of functions held at the hotel, hotel guests, and employee award banquets. Selections of this collection, but not the entire thing, can be found in our Digital Library, here.

The Ron Howard papers (1947-1972) consists mainly of program copies for auto racing in Salt Lake City, Utah as well as some original programs.

The photographs in this collection are scenes of Southern Utah and the Four-Corners Area during the 1920s. Included are several particularly interesting views of Mesa Verde National Monument. There is also one portrait of Orson Pratt.

The Dakota Chase Hyde papers (2004-2006) consist of materials related to his participation in the U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Teams. Hyde is a competitive skeleton athlete.

The Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame collection (2007) consists of a copy of the magazine Jackson Home and two posters, all autographed by skier Kit DesLauriers.

The International Ski History Association photograph collection contains materials realted to the history of skiing and the people involved with the Ski History Assocaition

The inventories to the XV Winter Olympic Games (1984-1988) consist of inventories to the records of the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympic Games. The collection contains nine spiral bound books that descripe the records of PR-90-001, held in 620 containers in the City of Calgary Archives, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This collection also includes several promotional pamphlets, training materials, and other documents produced in conjunction with the 1988 Winter Olympic Games.

The Karl and Vicki Beck Jacobson papers (1978-1995) consist of a biographical sketch, news clippings and a calendar produced by Jans Mountain Outfitters that features a photograph of Karl Jacobson.

The Vesta W. James papers (1942) contain the transcript of an interview she gave in 1915 to the Salt Lake Tribune, concerning the first hotels in Salt Lake City. Also included in the papers is another article written by James entitled, "History of Pioneer Bands and Orchestras in Utah," which was part of the Utah Writers Project.

The Hardy Jenkinson family home movies (1951-1969) consist of family and vacation footage including footage of river-running throughout Utah and the surrounding areas.

The Devereaux Jennings digital photograph collection consists of a portrait photograph of Devereaux Jennings given to attendees at his memorial service in 2000. Also included in the collection is a photographs of Jennings skiing. These images are digital only.

The Katrina Terzian Jensen scrapbooks consist of photocopies containing news clippings discussing Utah NCAA and also the University of Utah's Ski Program and Jensen's ski career as a participant of this program.
