The Vesta W. James papers (1942) contain the transcript of an interview she gave in 1915 to the Salt Lake Tribune, concerning the first hotels in Salt Lake City. Also included in the papers is another article written by James entitled, "History of Pioneer Bands and Orchestras in Utah," which was part of the Utah Writers Project.
