The Drew Hicken papers (1990-1993) contain color photocopies of a calendar, various magazine excerpts, and a flyer. Most of the collection contains color images of Hicken snowboarding that appeared in various snowboarder magazines. Hicken was a competitive snowboarder for the "Salty 8," a team sponsored by Salty Peaks Snowboard Shop.

The John Hoagland avalanche publications collection (1933-1990) contains published technical reports and monographs mostly from the United States Forest Service on avalanche research and the impact of avalanches on alpine skiing. Included are manuals for the National Avalance School sponsored by the Forest Service, as well as technical reports relating to avalanche control. Hoagland is a winter recreation specialist for the United States Forest Service.

The Hotel Utah records (1909-1993) consists of employee and company newsletters, room diagrams, certificates of award received by the hotel, advertising materials, plaques, and 1941 payroll records. Additionally, menus from the hotel's restaurants and an early wine list are preserved in the collection. Hotel Utah opened in Salt Lake City, Utah in June 8, 1911 and closed August 31, 1987.
