Treseder was a Justice of the Peace in Magna, Utah from 1928 to 1932, served as a deputy U.S. Marshal in 1933, and from 1950 to 1952 was a Utah U.S. Marshal. His personal interests included active membership in the Democratic Party in Utah, where he also served in several capacities.
