The Chadwin H. Peirce essay (1967) is titled "An Investigation of 'This is the Place' Monument Park." This essay was prepared for Mack Kesler's course on senior design at the University of Utah. It investigates the condemnation proceedings of the 177 acres of privately owned land east of the "This is the Place" Monument in Salt Lake City, Utah. Suggestions for future uses of the park are also discussed in the essay.

The Lynn Pulsipher essay (circa 1977) entitled, "Post-1890 Plural Marriage in Mexico Between 1890 and 1904" consist of a paper written by Pulsipher for a Brigham Young University history course. The paper is a study of LDS Church polygamy continuing in Mexico after the Manifesto of 1890 and of the role of Anthony W. Ivins in performing plural marriages in Mexico.

Abstract
The Charles N. Strevell papers (1894-1943) contain correspondence, family history, essays, speeches, publications, art work, posters, pamphlets, brochures, news clippings, and other related materials. Strevell was one of the organizers of Strevell-Paterson Hardware Company and was the president for many years before his retirement in 1912. He became well known for his essay, "Dinosauropodes,"" which was published several times during the 1930s.

The Darell D.Thorpe papers (1976-1987) are composed of manuscripts, notes and research relating to Thorpe's writings on theology and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS).
