Abstract The Eckley M. Keach diary (1925-1971) was written by Keach (1893-1982) during a fifty-one year span of his life. The diary is full of personal anecdotes and momentous world events that occurred during this time frame. The diary is missing years 1937 to 1939 and 1941 to 1945. The loss of the years of 1941 to 1945 is acknowledged by Keach, who suspects carelessness on the part of fellow workers. The earlier years, however, are not.
