The Clyde Eddy book (1929) is entitled Down the World's Most Dangerous River and contains marginalia written by Mary Virginia Carey. This book was gifted to Mary by her brother Vincent who took part in the Eddy Colorado River expedition. Included in the collection is a typescript of the marginalia located within the book.

The original materials were created in 1898-1960. Nathaniel Galloway was a famous river explorer and boatman.
