Abstract Peter DeLafosse was the Acquisitions Editor at the University of Utah Press and was the author and editor of several books and articles dealing with Western history. This collection contains photographs pertaining to the life and work of author and historian Charles Kelly (1889-1971), who wrote books about Western trails and biographies of Porter Rockwell, Caleb Greenwood, and Miles Goodyear.

Abstract The Peter DeLafosse papers (1907-1999) consists of correspondence, manuscripts, diary entries, articles, biographical materials, and collection registers pertaining to the life of Charles Kelly (1889-1971). Kelly, a historian of the American west, was an author of a book on trails in the western salt desert in Utah and Nevada, and wrote biographies of Porter Rockwell, Caleb Greenwood, and Miles Goodyear.
