The James A. and Mary Jane Lyttle Little autobiographical sketches (1808-1892) are fairly short accounts of events and memories of their lives. The sketch of James Little indicates his role in recording Utah's history: he was editor of the Millennial Star. The account of Mary Jane Lyttle records her father's involvement in destroying a printing press in Nauvoo. The press was declared a nuisance by Joseph Smith, and John Little and Jessie P. The Grant H. Palmer papers (1788-2015) contain LDS seminary and institute lecture notes, documents on the LDS Church, correspondence, book manuscripts, articles, and drawings. Grant H. Palmer (b. 1940) worked for the Church Educational System (CES) of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) for several years. After retiring, he wrote two books, An Insider's View of Mormon Origins and The Incomparable Jesus.

The Albert King Thurber papers (1822-1877) contain transcripts of his autobiography and a partial diary. Thurber was convert to the LDS Church. He served several missions, including one to England in 1865. He was also a member of the Utah legislature, and later served as a delegate to the legislature.
