Abstract The Waldemer P. Read papers (1947-1975) consist of essays, presentations, and a manuscript for a book on philosophy. Waldemer Pickett Read (1897-1975) graduated from the University of Utah and earned the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Chicago. He was professor of philosophy at the University of Utah for forty-two years.
