James S. Campbell papers
The James S. Campbell papers (1928-1973) contain a transcript of the oral history of James S. Campbell and a handwritten copy of "The Lass o' Lasswade" by James Brookston (b.1855). Brookston was originally from Stobhill, Scotland. He became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1864 and moved to Utah in 1883.
Martha Springman Castagnoli papers
The Martha Springman Castagnoli papers contain a manuscript written by Castagnoli about her upbringing in Salt Lake City in the early 1900s.
Hiram B. Clawson papers
The Hiram B. Clawson papers consists of family correspondence from the Clawsons and Spencers, including letters from Hiram Clawson to his wife, Ellen Spencer Clawson, and letters from Orson Spencer to his children. Included are party invitations to Hiram Clawson and a few playbills from the Salt Lake Theatre. Some materials have been digitized and are available online.

The Robert Gardner papers (1857-1884) consist of Gardner's autobiography, diary, patriarchal blessing, genealogy, and a fragment from his brother's journal. These materials were transcribed from the originals.

The Rose Thomas Graham book (1958) was written by Rose (1876-1967), about her childhood home on 443 South 100 West, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The complete title of the book is "Home of the R. K. Thomas Family, 443," after her father, Richard Kendall Thomas (1844-1915).
Martin S. Lindsay diary
The Martin S. Lindsay diary contains an account of day to day events in Salt Lake City, Utah, by Lindsay. He refers to personal affairs, church work, gardening, and makes several references to the exploits of Jack the Ripper in London.

Oliver Lee Robinson diary [photocopy]
The Oliver Lee Robinson diary (1854-1858) is a photocopy of Robinson's journal. In addition to a family record, the journal contains the activites of Robinson as a settler in Utah with an account of an Indian attack on Fort Limhi in Idaho, February 1857. The journal closes with the arrival of Johnston's army in Utah, July 1858.
Joseph Edward Taylor diary [typescript]
The Joseph Edward Taylor diary [typescript] (1849-1877) consists of brief entires that cover certain events in Taylor's, and his family's, life. The diary covers events in Taylor's life such as converting to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints (LDS), in England, his trip aboard a steamer to New Orleans, his travels from Council Bluffs across the plains to Salt Lake City, and the "Utah War" and the impact of the army at Fort Bridger and Camp Floyd.

The Westside Storytelling Project collection consists of materials donated by individuals who participated in the project. The goal of the project was to obtain oral histories from the residents and people of the westside of Salt Lake City, Utah.
