Children's Service Society of Utah records
The Children's Service Society of Utah records (1884-1990s) contain correspondence, annual reports, pamphlets, newsletters, news clippings, meeting minutes, financial records, and scrapbooks documenting the activities of the society. The Children's Service Society of Utah was founded in 1883 as a free day-care nursery. In the early 1930s the nursery was closed and the society began a three-fold program including foster care, unmarried parent services and adoption.
