The Theodore Fujiki photograph collection contains 1 black-and-white copy print of Fujiki during his service in the United States Army during World War II, dating from approximately 1943 to 1945. This image was collected in conjunction with an exhibit on Japanese American veterans.

Biographical Note

Theodore “Ted” Fujiki (1922-2007) was born on July 28, 1922 in Devil’s Slide, Utah. He served in the United States Army during World War II in the Counter Intelligence Corp, stationed in Japan. He married Sumiko Sueoka (1925-2009) in 1949; together they had one son. The Fujikis lived most of their lives in Idaho, where Fujiki belonged to the Toastmasters, American Legion Post, and Good Samaritans Club. He was also a member of various Masonic groups, including the Eastern Star and the Shriners. In 1982, Fujiki was appointed the grand master of the Idaho Masons. Theodore Fujiki died on November 9, 2007.
