Historical Note
The "Miss Helen" Snow Kimball Domestic Travel Award is meant to encourage a focused domestic travel experience with the confines of North America. This focused travel experience is intended to broaden the recipient's cultural and aesthetic experiences through travel and study for their final year of architectural study. The recipient is encouraged to visit local architectural offices, make site visits to exemplary works and designs, and experience firsthand the architecture of their interest.
The award was established by Ranch Kimball to honor his mother, Helen Snow Kimball.
