The Page Stegner papers (1969-2001) consist of manuscript drafts, finished manuscripts, galleys, published essays, interviews, correspondence, and news articles. This collection also contains drafts through page proofs of Marking the Sparrow's Fall: Wallace Stegner's American West, with an introduction written by Page Stegner.

Biographical / Historical
Page Stegner was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1937, the son of Wallace Earle and Mary Page Stegner. He is a professor English at the University of California at Santa Cruz. He has authored novels, numerous book reviews, and essays concerned with landscape and environment issues. Page and his wife, Lynn, live in California and in Vermont.
