The Mary Bennion Powell Muhs papers (1972-1973) contain letters from a former student to Sterling M. McMurrin, dean of the Graduate School at the University of Utah, asking McMurrin to preserve the story of her father's polygamous marriage after the turn of the 20th century and its effect on her family. Includes a photocopied holograph and a typescript of the incomplete work titled "A Utah Idyll."
