Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Frank Leroy Byers photograph collection consists of 2 boxes containing 1,094 black-and-white and color photographs, negatives and postcards related to Byers' research and experience as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Topics include: missionary work, particularly the Western States Mission; historic sites in Missouri and Illinois; members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with their testimonies; and a photo album of Gilbert Zamora of Mexico. The collection also contains photographs of the Byers family and friends. Box 1 Folders 1-19 consist of negatives only.
