Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Word War I Parade photograph collection consists of 1 box containing 28 black-and-white photograph prints depicting the November 11, 1918 parade and celebration of Armistice Day in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The images depict people in vehicles; crowds of men, women, and children celebrating on sidewalks and in the streets; and musicians. The people hold American flags, instruments and other noise-makers, banners, and signs. A stamp on the back of the photographs reads "Sainsbury-Siddoway Photo Co. Commercial Photographers Kodak Finishing, Film, etc. Main Street Street, Salt Lake City, Wasatch."
