Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Dean L. May papers (1848-2003) consist of materials relating to May's teaching and writing careers. Includes correspondence, diaries, pamphlets, reports, minutes, legal papers, news articles, notes, syllabi, maps, coding papers relating to demography studies, research materials, and scripts for a television series titled "A Peoples' History of Utah" (1978-1980). Includes a paper given at a meeting of the Mormon History Association in 1975 titled "The Mormon Community in Historical Perspective."
