Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Jerilyn S. McIntyre papers (1845-2015) consist of writings, research materials, teaching materials, administrative and professional materials. The writing materials include manuscript drafts and several articles. The majority of the published materials discussed the Hutchins Commission and the history of mass communication. Included in the collection are the research materials and notes that were collected and used by Dr. McIntyre. The teaching materials include syllabi, lecture notes, examinations, and handouts for courses taught at the University of Washington, University of Iowa, University of Utah and Central Washington University. The collection also contains the professional and academic career materials mainly focused on Dr. McIntyre's career at the University of Utah.
