From the Collection: The Mario S. De Pillis papers (1957-2008) consist of correspondence, reviews and other materials. Among this correpondence are letters with Fawn Brodie, Daniel Boorstin, Richard Brown, Newell Bringhurst, Lavina Fielding Anderson, Danny Jorgensen, Bill Mulder, Polly Aird, Michael Quinn, Lawrence Foster, and Peter Stearns. Particularly noteworthy are the communications associated with the founding and the development of one of America's premier historical journals, the Journal Of Social History.
