From the Collection: The Stephen Gary Erickson papers consists of correspondence, notes, financial materials, research materials, newsletters, pamphlets, publications, and news clippings. The bulk of the collection contains information about the resistance effort against the U.S. government's creation, testing, storage, and use of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons of mass destruction in Utah and the Inter-mountain West which occurred from 1980-2000. The collection particularly consists of Erickson's work as an activist, lobbyist and community organizer with the non-profit agencies Downwinders and Western Solidarity.
