Preston Linford (1888-1981) was an engineer for the United States Bureau of Public Roads from 1915 to 1958 and Helen Strobeck Linford (1897-1982) was a teacher in Ogden. The Preston and Helen Strobeck Linford photograph collection contains portraits, candid photographs, and scrapbooks of their lives, families, and travels between about 1930 and the 1970s.
Preston D. Linford papers
The Preston D. Linford papers (1948-2000) consist of correspondence, programs, brochures, notes, and news clippings. Preston D. Linford was an assistant professor of civil engineering at the University of Utah from 1946 to 1975. He began acting in the late 1940s under C. Lowell Lees in Salt Lake City.
