Abstract The Nichiren Buddhist Temple records (1954-2003) contain correspondence, financial reports, membership records, the church newsletter, and other documents pertaining to the Nichiren Buddhist Temple. The temple (which dates from 1971-1991) was operated in Salt Lake City by Yosh Ito and Reverend Kanai Skokai. There were more than two hundred members, a large percentage of whom were Japanese Americans.
